"Besides speedy delivery, Zazzle.com doesn’t have too much going for it--a terrible ordering process and poor quality T-shirts, for example."

Advertiser Disclosure

Zazzle.com was the most frustrating to work with when ordering T-shirts. The site was easy to navigate and starting an order was simple, but once we got to the online T-shirt design tool, the simplicity turned into frustration. Editing and moving our uploaded artwork file was a nightmare, and we spent a good amount of time trying to work with the design tool to get our shirt to look how we wanted it.

Templates (2.6/5.0)

Zazzle.com doesn’t offer many options when looking for templates. The design tool and blank guides are very poor, though there are plenty of ready-made shirts to choose from.

Online Design Tool: One of the most frustrating design tools. Images and files will be mis-sized, and the design features are hard use.

Delivery (4.5/5.0)

Our Zazzle.com order took seven business days for production and shipping, which was one of the fastest delivery times compared to other sites we ordered T-shirts from. The package included a standard postal bag with the shirts folded and tightly packed inside, but without protective cardboard or plastic-wrapping.

Quality (2.9/5.0)

The printed colors on the T-shirts from Zazzle.com were absolutely horrendous. They looked extremely faded and washed-out compared to the specific Pantone colors included in our design. Clarity of the design elements, such as text, lines and gradients, was not much better, being incredibly blurry and spotty. However, the 100% cotton, Hanes T-shirt felt a little thicker than others we reviewed.

Value (3.5/5.0)

Featuring terrible quality, the T-shirts from Zazzle.com also snagged one of the worst spot in terms of value. Both the total price and the cost per shirt were on the high side, though the cost per shirt did begin to scale down after an order of eleven or more shirts, but was still not enough to make up for the poor quality.
